Appointment Types
Virtual
Length: 10 minutes
Issues: simple, single or follow-up.
Examination not required.
In-Clinic
Length: 15 minutes
Issues: personal, 1 issue.
Examination required.
Wellness
Length: 30 minutes
Issues: wellness, preventative, annual check-ups - kids/adults.
Physical examination.
Mental Health
Length: 15-30 minutes
Initial assessment (30) in person.
Follow-up (15) virtual/clinic.
Online Booking
We encourage all registered patients to request an appointment using our online booking portal.

Cancellation/No Show Policy​

24 hours notice must be provided or patients will be charged the following fees:

Virtual appointment no show: $50

In-person regular appointment late cancellation/no show: $50

Long appointment/Complete physical late cancellation/no show: $150

Appointment Details
Complex and/or multiple issues
-
Please make a list to review with your physician. We will help you with prioritization of multiple/complex issues, and can determine a schedule and appointment types for best management.

Newborn appointments

Please call the office to register your baby with their family physician and to booked an appointment.

Virtual appointments

Virtual appointments are 10 minutes in length.

Only ONE issue per visit.

If you need to review multiple concerns virtually, book multiple virtual appointments on different days or book an in-person appointment.
In-person regular appointments
-
In-person regular appointments are usually 15 minutes in length.

Best suited for concerns that require a physical examination or to review multiple concerns. Lengthy issues will require more than one visit in order to be able to provide the best care.
Wellness checks/annual check-ups

Long appointment (30 mins)

Wellness checks for children and preventative health/annual check-ups for adults
Mental health appointments

Mental health initial assessments require in-person, 30 minutes (long appointment).

Follow up appointments 15 minutes or 30 minutes depending on need.

Driver's Medicals
-
Alberta Health will not pay for seniors driver's medical exams or for work required driver's medicals.
-
Alberta Transportation require senior driver's medicals at age 75, at age 80, and every 2yrs after age 80.

All patients 74.5yrs and older, must book one visit with our Health Management Nurse (pre-screening) before seeing their doctor - Call: 587-774-9736

After seeing the Health Management Nurse, book an appointment for your Driver's Medical with your family physician.

Driver's Medicals are $125.00

Procedures

Ask your physician if your procedure is covered by Alberta Health.

Procedures must be booked by calling the clinic.

Consultations
-
A referral to one of our physicians for a specialty area consultation (IUD, skin lesion, migraine, bruxism, hyperhidrosis, etc) must be booked by calling the clinic.
